Lovingly created from my dedication to dumbbells and passion for pilates! The benefit of using weights is strength training builds lean muscle which uses more energy (calories)even as you rest.

Whenever I’d want to tone & define or see results I’d pick up my weights. I would stay behind after teaching pilates classes to use weights. A friend stayed behind with me one night and loved it then a few clients started staying behind for this wee extra session. It was then I realised combining weights with pilates &  body toning exercises was something clients wanted so Power & Pilates was born!

Music is key each song is carefully selected for maximum feel good ( from 70s – present day) and I work each exercise into the songs.

This class routine changes every 6 weeks to keep your body guessing and prevent exercise plateau ( staying the same).
